A couple months worth of inspiration! I felt this was in order after about a month of no blogging. I am absolutely in love with leopard print tights and absolutely plan to get some of my very own! Also, the Topshops here is having a sale and I intend to forage there for something lovely. ( yeah, as though it's so hard to find something nice in Topshop that I actually have to forage). My birthday was a few weeks ago and I also bought myself two dresses, as a special treat to myself. Oh, and a belated Happy Halloween everyone! What did you dress up as?

My new AA u-neck dress but more notably my mums' old blazers. Although I love both, the mint green one can't really fit me because of it's huge shoulders. oh well.

Anyways fashion week(s)! I am just about to collage my favourites now that my finals are over. Yes i know it is pretty late compared to all you very forward bloggers but I promise an EPIC post about it very soon.

My American Apparel shipment arrived a week ago, and I finally got the chance to play around with them. I bought the tulip skirt and their black body con dress I'm sure everyone has. The vest is actually circa 1999 from my childhood and the bag is another vintage treasure of my mum's.

I can't wait for my finals to be over! Already I have numerous plans, one of them being making my own skirts. That way i don't have to pay US$28 excluding shipping for a skirt. Please get cheaper shipping AA!

Hey loves, posting has been lacklustre and will continue to be for a while more, because finals are coming up!! Yes I have a very big reason to panic. however here is part of a Chadwick Tyler photoshoot I rummaged around for. I adore the black-white-grey colour going on.

The whole photos with boots things totally skipped my mind, but hopefully there will be at least one outfit post next week. My next couple of weeks will now be filled with endless studying, the guilty consumption of chocolate from all the stress of endless studying, and more endless studying.

Wish me luck! ( for the chocolate eating or the exams, I'm not picky)

I think that this is my favourite editorial of all time. first of all, Sasha Pivovarova and Dhani Harrison are so adorable it hurts my brain, Sasha being my favourite model ever because of all the loveliness she emanates.

Second of all, THE CLOTHES. Luxe fur coats in different colors, ( my favourite being the candy pink), Bejeweled boots, fox-fur hunting hats, gorgeous jewellery, and the Bohemian style carried throughout the ed. I want those grey tights so bad and her whole outfit in the fourth photo. I know this isn't very recent but this editorial is too beautiful for words ( coming from someone who just spewed a whole lot of words...) and too pretty to not share with those who haven't seen it.

I got a new bed! Isn't it the prettiest thing? Of course, I had to shamelessly cavort on and around it. This skirt is a tad too big, I should probably get it altered. My sister was just watching old Britney videos, I remember just dancing on the bed diligently memorising the lyrics and singing along.I was only about six mind you, but I totally adored her. Seriously. Little did we know that she would go on to be a head shaving, umbrella-wielding wreck.

In a totally different note, the weather is beginning to pick up here in Singapore, and by pick up I mean raining and an overall chillier temperature, ( which is an improvement to the otherwise sweltering hot conditions). To most, it would signify wet school blouses, sopping shoes and annoyance at not bringing an umbrella out( why do umbrellas keep coming up?) but to me, it means time to bring out the tights, sweaters and cardis. I can at least attempt to mimic fall trends.

I love her. Her style is awesomely cool and edgy, and she totally has the confidence to pull of even the wackiest of outfit choices. Of course, I had to include her wearing That Miu Miu Dress. Words cannot describe how much I love that dress. I also love Daisy's penchant for tight and socks, especially worn with those triple strap miu miu heels.The second to last look is one of my favourites.. she can dress from casual to dressy to boho-chic effortlessly. This girl has fantastic dress sense, albeit the occasional bad choice. The high wasted skirts, pretty dresses and semi-sheer tights..what could be more close to prefection? Now give me your shoes, Daisy. Right now.

In other news, the new shoes are itching to be worn, and I am planning a photoshoot thingy for this exact purpose. By the way, did anyone watch the primiere of Gossip Girl season 2? I loved Blair's eyelet minidress.

The boots that I got on Friday! They are the strangest greenish-grey colour but insanely awesome and insanely cheap.

Oh yeah Salvation Army was a huge disappointment. We trudged all the way there only to find that the store was tiny and there wasn't anything good. We might try to hit up the Serangoon one soon, but right now I'm too upset by the flop that today's trip turned out to be.

New outfit post! these were taken ages ago, before I actually even had a blog. In other news, I CUT BANGS you guys!! After weeks of contemplation, i finally took the plunge yesterday. My sister hacked it off for me on her bathroom floor. It actually turned out quite well, i look kinda ~fierce now. Shall put up photos of said haircut soon. Anyways, I'm gonna go explore the salvation army tomorrow. Hopefully I'll have acquired some good stuff by the end of the day! Till next time.

friday, I'm in love

I went out on Friday to celebrate a friends birthday, and I wore this. I took these two shots first before discovering the glory of new plant 'benches' and therefore immediately utilising them.

Both the turtleneck and jacket are vintage, the jacket a miraculous find at the back of my closet and the turtleneck belonged to my mum, she wore this WHEN SHE WAS 20! My mum was so tiny I swear... Its the softest thing and spotted with tiny tiny iridescent bits of white and black and dark grey that you cant really see much but adds a bit of texture to the turtleneck when you look at it.

The white sailor shorts from Cotton On. I actually had a few hours of school before I went out ( this requiring the wearing of school uniform) and I was too lazy to lug an extra pair of shoes to switch into so I just wore my school shoes, but I switched to lace socks that are the prettiest things ever.

Oh, and I also bought a new pair of boots yesterday which I was not supposed to do, but my defences were weak ,needless to say. Maybe I'll post pics tomorrow yeah?

I want these. They're from Forever 21, but alas, the F21 stores here do not sell shoes.ughh. The canvas material and bootie/but not really bootie design really gets to me. Anyway, I may try to purchase them in the future ( read: not immediately because of my apparent lack of cash), but fingers crossed that I shall be able to order them online during the December holidays!

The pictures are from Eley Kishimoto, the first three from their autumn winter 08/09 collection. Eley Kishimoto designs are fun to look at because of the groovy splashes of colour and the bold prints which are pulled together with tons of finesse. These are just a preview of all the loveliness that they presented in this collection! I have been meaning to buy snow white tights for the longest time and these just give me more drive to do so. The collection also features bold patterned tights which I find krazy kool. ( Yes I do say things like krazy kool and I do bother to switch the letters to K).

The bottom three pictures are from their spring summer 08 collection, which was a ages ago, I know. Although I would love to wear the autumn friendly clothing everyday, the spring summer collection is much more Singapore -weather-is-too-darn-hot- appropriate. The things I love are the contrasting patterns (this is actually true for both collections), the deliciously bright colours, and the fresh takes on knit vests and rompers.

okay first outfit!!

The dress I got on my trip to Bangkok for an obscencely cheap amount. They really are meant to be worn shorter but I was in a rush so.. The shoes I got from KL and the tights at Soxworld. The tights are super soft, I could just live in them all day. I apologize for the horrible photo quality because they were taken by my nine year old sister. You can't really expect perfection from someone who still watches the Disney Channel obsessively.
